The HP 9250c Digital Sender is a dedicated device focused on efficient, high-speed content capture. It allows users to scan large volumes of documents quickly and easily for greater overall productivity.

• The HP 9250c Digital Sender includes embedded scan-to-e-mail functionality. Enjoy simple communication, convenient archiving, and fast retrieval. Digital sending software¹ enhances the effectiveness of business communications and facilitates document workflow and by enabling documents to be sent to printers, network folders, and fax services, including LAN fax, Internet fax, and Windows 2000/XP fax services.


Thoughtful features such as an external keyboard, an intuitive control panel with custom menu keys, and Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software, make this device easy to navigate, easy to use, and flexible in what it can deliver.

• The touch-screen graphical control panel features an integrated design to monitor job status and operate the scanner for simple scanning and digital sending. Used across several HP devices, the intuitive control panel provides similarity for a consistent user experience. This improves usability, minimizing training costs and increasing department productivity. Users can troubleshoot problems and manage their print jobs effectively.


The secure send key on the HP 9250c transfers data via a secure channel from the device to the server? that supports the HP DSS 4.0² software. The data is encrypted before it leaves the device, allowing it to arrive at its destination untouched.

• HP DSS 4.0² uses a company's existing LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol) or NTLM, Novell, or Kerberos network authentication process to verify user identification and allow access both from the user and to the supported send-to destinations. Authentication can also be used to control and track digital sending usage by device.


The administration module allows you to manage one or more digital senders from a single centralized server.
