RoHS stands for Restriction of Hazardous Substances. RoHS, also known as Directive 2002/95/EC, originated in the European Union and restricts the use of specific hazardous materials found in electrical and electronic products (known as EEE). EPEAT Silver REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization, and Restriction of Chemicals) is a regulation of the European Union, adopted to improve the protection of human health and the environment from risks that can be posed by chemicals. REACH The repairability index consists of a score out of ten intended to be displayed at the time of purchase to inform consumers of the categories of electrical and electronic products.
