Product description:
Delivering ADSL/ADSL2 and ADSL2+ enables service providers to offer connections of more than 24 Mbps downstream with the CopperJet 1616.
Furthermore, the CopperJet 1616 is a Voice over DSL (ATM) Integrated Access Device, which has proven interoperability with BLES (DSL-Forum), Paradyne/Jetstream, Cirpack, TDSoft, Siemens and Alcatel Voice Gateways. It supports 2POTS/PSTN connections on RJ11 connectors that can be used for telephony (analog phones), fax or PaBX services using its integrated residential exchange functions. The IAD also provides layer 2 Bridging and combines software security for added versatility.
Active Inbound Call Switching enables the user to have both his traditional POTS Voice line and the VoDSL line connected to a single POTS telephone.
This latest development from Allied Data Technologies is a combination of Data and Voice in order to supply customers a total package of data communications and telephony.
