SXGA+ Medical Imaging, enhanced with the clarity of LCOS Technology
Native SXGA+ resolution
With native SXGA+ resolution (1400 x 1050 pixels), the XEED SX80 Mark II Medical reproduces images with amazing clarity – ideal for specialist medical applications. Canon LCOS technology also avoids common projection image drawbacks, reproducing detailed images without the unwanted “lattice” or “rainbow” effects.
Exceptional brightness and contrast
With a generous 3000 lumens brightness and 900:1 contrast ratio, the XEED SX80 Mark II Medical delivers clear, well defined images. Canon’s AISYS optical system maximises the performance of the highly efficient AC projector lamp, for powerful projection. Every subtle gradation in the source image is reproduced with clarity and precision.
Easy placement
The SX80 Mark II Medical is fitted with a Canon 1.5x powered zoom projection lens, specially designed to combat distortion and deliver perfect image geometry. In addition, the 10:0 lens offset makes installation exceptionally easy.
DICOM Preset image mode
The SX80 Mark II Medical features a special ‘DICOM Preset’ image mode, ideal for the reproduction of greyscale medical images such as X-rays. The feature offers a choice of 21 different presets, ideal for conferences, medical training and other non-diagnostic applications.
Fully automatic set-up
At the touch of a button, the projector automatically configures four key settings: Focus, Keystone Correction, Input Selection and Screen Colour Correction.
PC-Free presentations
The XEED SX80 Mark II Medical utilises USB technology, for direct projection of image files from USB flash drives. Medical images in JPEG format can be projected directly from the flash drive – ideal for training environments. In addition, direct image display is possible from PictBridge digital cameras.
Comprehensive Connectivity
The SX80 Mark II Medical is equipped with DVI and HDMI™ terminals, with full HDCP support. In addition, an on-board RJ-45 port is provided, for direct connection to a network. Control and monitoring is then possible, through integration with industry-standard AV control systems.
Quiet operation
Running at levels of just 31dBA in Quiet Mode, the projector won’t distract your audience with fan noise. Quiet Mode also extends lamp lifetime - up to a maximum of 3000 hours.
Convenient design
The sleek, gloss white bodyshell of the XEED SX80 Mark II Medical blends perfectly into any hospital or training environment. -
