This has one clever plus on the large range of Skype phones, to use this the PC does not need to be turned on. So provided you have a wireless router that’s it.

Once you connect to a network, the Belkin Wi-Fi Phone for Skype (a wireless VoIP phone) works well and makes fairly clear calls, but Id be a lot more excited about it if the price dropped to, say, $50 or $75. Although it costs less than the competin...
Good Much less expensive than the comparable Netgear device. Makes fairly clear calls. Supports both WEP and WPA security. Easy to use.
Bad Still pricey. On public-access Wi-Fi, works only with the rare, completely open network that requires no browser authentication. Lacks USB-to-PC connectivity. Entering contact info and the like using the phone keypad is cumbersome.
Bottom line As with the competing Netgear product, this is a nifty toy for the gadget fiend who has plenty of disposable income and doesnt mind limited connectivity options. Others should save their money...
