The HP StorageWorks Reference Information Storage System (RISS) is a records management and archiving solution that minimizes storage costs and offers unprecedented end user accessibility by transforming data into useful information. IT storage and storage management costs are reduced by 3x to 5x via highly optimized single instancing capabilities, automated migration of data off expensive primary storage, and end-user initiated information searches and retrievals.
